There are many opportunities to volunteer before, during and after emergencies affecting Somerset with established agencies in the Somerset Emergency Voluntary Agencies Group (SEVAG).

The group is made up of voluntary agencies who provide training and exercising opportunities to ensure they are able to coordinate with the responsible agencies in the event of an incident.

Each agency has its own unique capabilities and services such as care and support, transport and animal welfare. If you have particular skills or are interested in volunteering for a particular area of response, visit the member agencies below or contact us for more information.
